Applications

Typical applications include:

Clean Rooms

Of course, cleanliness is a major reason for lining any room with vinyls. They stay clean longer and are easier to clean if or when they do get dirty. Standard installation and materials produce a far superior result than traditional porous materials or ceramic tiles. Even higher levels of impermeability can be achieved using special joint sealing or welding techniques. There is also an ultra-hygienic grade of cladding with an active anti-bacterial coating for use in sensitive areas. Typical ‘clean’ applications include medical, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, food & dairy.

Interlocking PVC planks & mouldings around lights, vents, etc. ensure ceiling integrity. Wall cladding is sealed at top, bottom & all joints. Curved formed corners & coving to the floor prevent dirt trapping. Door & window cladding options for total isolation.

Kitchens

These are some of the most common types of installation due to the particular advantages of PVC cladding for hygiene, cleaning, durability and speed of initial application. Installations can often be achieved overnight with minimum downtime. From a small lunch bar to extensive restaurant kitchens, catering and central processing units this treatment is ideal for all food storage, preparation and wash-up areas. Floor drainage can be incorporated and stainless steel panels inserted for heat, impact & UV protection.

Treatment is as for clean rooms plus extra heat (& impact) resistant fibre glass laminated PVC and stainless steel sheet in ‘flame’ areas. Walling can be sealed to existing or new flooring for easy cleaning and moisture protection.

Wet Rooms

Washrooms, showers, toilets, baths, sports areas, and anywhere that gets wet regularly can benefit from PVC cladding, sealing and non-slip flooring. By careful design, choice of materials and installation, a completely waterproof lining is created which can be submerged or hosed down if necessary. Rubber and/or textured flooring can be graded and incorporate drainage outlets, etc. This allows for the possibility of continuous flooring under shower stalls for easy cleaning and wheelchair access if required.

Industrial

Premises and areas used for assembly, many types of manufacturing and warehousing benefit from PVC cladding. Hard wearing, low maintenance and easily cleaned, it offers a cost-effective solution to the need for bright, modern work environments. Heavy-duty grades of wall and floor material can be further protected with stainless steel corners and moulded skirting where required. Building, safety and workplace regulations are satisfied and the speedy installation over large areas can be a real bonus.

Any type of direct or suspended ceiling can be used, including PVC plank, Gyproc tiling & traditional plaster. Wall, door & pillar corners reinforced with stainless steel angle. Heavy duty sheet, resin or existing flooring as required.

Foot Traffic

Constant footfalls and trolleys can take their toll in hospitals, schools, retail and other public spaces. PVC cladding and specialist flooring can take this repeated punishment and still look good for years with minimum maintenance and standard cleaning. The wide range of colours and finishes allows for the creation of attractive, co-ordinated environments which can include doors, stairs and other elements. Public area regulations are satisfied and flooring can have special non-slip and acoustic characteristics.

Tough, stylish trim and accessories, stair tread, safety edging, moulded skirting and high-impact dado rails compliment and protect

Common Rooms

Cafes, classrooms, waiting/meeting areas, shops, showrooms. Just some examples of interior spaces regularly used by a number of people for periods of time. As well as the functional requirements of durability, toughness, cleanliness, low maintenance and safety, these areas also benefit from light, colour and good design. PVC wall cladding and flooring are ideal for creating such environments, satisfying all of these requirements cost-effectively with minimum disruption and downtime.

Interlocking PVC planks & mouldings around lights, vents, etc. ensure ceiling integrity. Wall cladding is sealed at the top, bottom & all joints. Curved formed corners & coving to the floor prevent dirt trapping. Door & window cladding options for total isolation.
